Mystory.
My story is shaped by challenges, but also by hope, love and an unwavering belief in a better future.
My family
I am the mum of my beloved son Wally Njie, born on 5 February 2025. He is my greatest joy, my motivation and my daily source of strength.
My training & profession
I completed my training as a certified healthcare professional (Fachfrau Gesundheit, SRK diploma) and gained valuable experience in rehabilitation centres, clinics, hospitals and care homes.
Health & challenges
After giving birth I developed a pelvic inflammation and an inflammation of the sacroiliac joint. I had to rest and learn to be patient – and I never lost heart.
My path to Switzerland
I came to Switzerland from The Gambia as a young woman, to give my family a better future. Here I learned to find my feet in a new country and to walk my own path.
My vision
Through the Frontway organisation I want to support young people in The Gambia with education, career prospects and health awareness, and so help prevent irregular migration.
My strengths
I am a fighter: caring, dependable, committed and full of ideas. I believe in the power of community, in humanity and in positive change.
My wish
I want to build a stable future for myself and my son – with health, success, love and new opportunities.
